Board Election – February 19, 2026
This notice is provided to protect every owner’s right to a private, fair, and independent vote.
Your Rights as a Voter
• Your vote is private. No one is entitled to see how you vote.
• You are not required to accept help from any Board member, officer, or candidate.
• No one should fill out your ballot for you.
• No one should collect or hold your ballot unless you personally choose to give it to someone you trust.
Ballot Assistance (Important)
If you need help due to vision, mobility, language, or another reason:
• You may choose any person you trust to assist you.
• That person should not be a Board member, officer, or candidate.
• Assistance should be only what you request.
• You should review and seal your ballot yourself if possible.
Ballot Handling & Custody
• Complete your ballot privately.
• Seal all envelopes yourself.
• Do not give your ballot to anyone offering to “help” you vote or to take your ballot for delivery.
• No Board member or officer should handle ballots or ballot box keys.
Replacement Ballots
If you did not receive a ballot or believe there is an error:
• Request a replacement ballot only through an official, documented process.
• Do not accept a ballot provided informally by any individual.
• Replacement ballots must be tracked to prevent duplicates.
Reporting Concerns (Independent Channels)
If you experience:
• pressure to vote a certain way,
• someone offering to fill out your ballot,
• someone asking to collect your ballot, or
• any intimidation related to voting,
you may report concerns confidentially through independent channels, including:
• the DBPR Condominium Ombudsman / Election Oversight, or
• the appointed election monitor (via DBPR).
Confidential Documentation (Optional)
Owners who are uncomfortable reporting concerns directly to official channels may optionally document what they experienced for preservation purposes.
• Documentation is voluntary.
• You may remain anonymous if you wish.
• You are not required to provide screenshots or proof.
• Information will be preserved and may be shared only with regulators if needed.
To document a concern, you may contact:
info@goldensurftowerscondominium.com
Documenting a concern here does not replace or interfere with reporting to DBPR or the election monitor.
Remember
• Voting is your right.
• Assistance is your choice.
• Privacy and neutrality are essential to a fair election.
Thank you for helping protect election integrity for all owners.
